Here is a list of some of the most frequent questions:
Can you make me a colour to order, I have a swab or piece of flaked paint I can send you? Yes this is no problem, customers have sellotaped flakes of paint to card, painted the last bit of a colour they have onto card, etc. We can help to match as accurate as possible that way.
Is postage to Europe / USA / Etc possible? Yes, we have customers all over the world. More an more form the USA and Europe. We are currently looking into Re-Paint Distributors in these countries.
Can I use Re-Paint after I have used ProRust to prepare/remove rust? Yes, Re-Paint is 100% compatible with ProRust - Tried & tested.
Can I apply Re-Paint Primer direct to rust? Yes, but it is a better idea to treat rust first, at the least remove as much as possible in the preparation process. For a thorough job, use ProRust (available in liquid & non drip gel), then fully degrease with Re-Paint Degreaser, followed by applying the Re-Paint Primer. Re-Paint Primer has built in rust inhibitors.
Why is there an Off White primer in your range? Re-Paint Off White Primer is intended to give good coverage of bright topcoat colour's. As an example, if you was using Aztec Yellow or a bright Colour special order paint, using the Off White primer will give you a much better coverage of the Aztec Yellow. Some customers also have another idea, where as they apply Off White Primer for the first 1 or 2 coats. This is followed by either Black or Red Oxide Primer, and then the Re-Paint Enamel Topcoat of there choice. Why do this? The reason is, when you see the Off White primer, you know that you are nearly down to bare metal - Time to Re-Paint! This is extreme cases such as chassis on off road vehicles, boat hulls, etc...
Do you sell brush cleaners? Yes, this is Re-Paint Thinners. Just use Re-Paint Thinners in the same way you would White spirits. It is worth noting that White spirit will not work with Re-Paint, do not try, unless you want to prove it to yourself! Only Re-Paint thinners can be used for cleaning brushes and equipment after use.
Is there cheaper products similar to Re-Paint? There is possibly cheaper, but not by much and it is difficult to put a low price on quality exclusive items - This stands for most things in the world, and it applies to Re-Paint. It is the best of the best, we believe it is priced very competitively compared to anything remotely similar. The contents of every can tell a thousand words - Try it and see for yourself!
I am worried I might mess up the job I am doing. Never really done this before? There is a first time for anything. And like anything, if you start with decent materials, and decent craftsmanship, you can achieve excellent results. Take a look at our preparation guides. If you take your time (apply more thin coats of primer/paint rather than thicker coats) and prepare the surface(s) properly you will be proud of the end result. You will be surprised at how easy it is to get great results with Re-Paint.
