About Us
Thank you for visiting the Re-Paint website - While we do not want to bore you with un-interesting information, we are sure you will find this page a good read! It was designed to be worthy of taking up someone's time for a few minutes and to give you a good insight into us, where and how our products have been used and Re-Paint in general.
RustSolutions Re-Paint is developed and distributed by RustSolutions. We do have distributors, but Re-Paint is considered to be an exclusive enamel paint. It was specially formulated to give a brush stroke free finish. Re-Paint is quick drying and has a high gloss finish with excellent weathering resistance to salt, etc. It is oil resistant too.
Unlike some companies, we use our paints! So we can advise on the usage of them properly in a wide variety of scenario's - Name another company that do this? We carry out tenders and contracts, or just one off jobs. Below is a few examples of our own work. Our staff are always being trained, and also sent to our R&D centre in Kent to have practical lessons in using the paints they are selling. Again, we do not know any other company that do this. Its all part of our dedication to not just sell you a tin of excellent paint, but to get the best job, best finish and best price for you.
Re-Paint has been used by all sorts of people, trades and industries. Some of them are very sensitive and specialist areas that demand only the best. Our customers range from restorers that need a few litres, to ship builders that need 2000 litres! Our largest order to date is a whopping 3000 litres that was used to Re-Paint a large quantity of marina pontoons. We have recently just painted a classic Ship called Little Ann II (Official Ship Number: 181487) in Re-Paint Artic White. Re-Paint is fine above the waterline, and considering that this Ship is irreplaceable, built from fine woods such as Teak and Mahogany, it just goes to show how much faith there is in Re-Paint. We also recently had a job that entailed a detailed perimeter wrought iron fence, surrounding a grade II listed building. Again, this is a very sensitive job and has to be carried out with care and consideration as the wrought iron was very old. There was a vast amount of iron to clean, prepare and then primer and paint. We took the job on, and the customer was amazed with the end results.
Another large job we carried out, was on the Mac Dermid AutoType B Machine in 2009. This was a large job where the factory was closed down for 2 weeks for us to de rust and prepare the machinery, then primer and Re-Paint. The paints used on this contract were specific to the job, from our specialist paints department. Yes, we can create paints and primers to any specification that is possible. If you have a commercial project that you would like us to estimate, then please get in touch with us. You can call 0845 47 46 845 or drop an email to contracts@Re-Paint.co.uk. For more information on applications by us, visit www.RustSolutions.co.uk.
Re-Paint is very versatile as it is NOT just for metal! It can also be used on wood and fibreglass. This can make it an excellent choice for marine use. Boats for example often have a mixture of wood, metal and fibreglass.
For our retail customers, Re-Paint is perfect for cars, vans, trucks, boats, yachts, caravans, campervans, motorhomes, gates, railings, wrought ironwork, wood, fibreglass, pipelines, large storage vats, oil rigs, shipping container, etc. There is so many uses for Re-Paint.
Re-Paint is our chosen paint to range and sell. It is a simple to use 1 pack paint. 1 pack means it can be used straight from the tin. 2 pack paint consists of 2 tins that needs to be mixed together, then applied. It has a separate hardener that activate the paint and then solidifies it. Re-Paint is very simple to use as it is 1 pack, straight from the tin, just like your household paints. Except the quality speaks for itself when applying and on the final finish - The proof is in every tin of Re-Paint.
What is in the Re-Paint range?
The Re-Paint range is complete from start to finish. We sell Re-Paint Thinners and degreaser, Re-Paint Primer and finally Re-Paint Enamel for the topcoat. We go over the preparation guides to help you. You can find the link for preparation guides on the left hand navigation box. These guides can be essential reading if you are new to all this! Its easy, just remember that planning and preparation are more important than applying the paint for the best finish.
